Car Hire / Bike Hire / Yacht Charter

We have negotiated very special car hire prices with our partners - Budget and Auto Jardin both offering current models of car and a large fleet in case of a breakdown. Unlike some other car hire suppliers this allows our clients to collect and return their cars at the airport, thus avoiding the necessity of catching a coach to an off airport depot. All cars have CDW, theft protection, unlimited mileage and tax included.

The minimum age for hiring a car is 21 plus a full driving licence must have been held for two years. A petrol deposit will be taken by credit card or in cash on taking delivery of the car. This will be refunded if you return the car with the same amount of petrol as when you collected it. Two drivers per car are free of charge. Additional drivers will be charged for locally from 2.5 euros daily.

In line with European laws, it is now compulsory for children under the age of twelve or under 1.5m tall to be seated in an appropriate child or baby seat. These can be requested at the time of booking (a charge of approximately €25 will be payable locally) or you may prefer take your own with you.

Driving while under the influence of drink or drugs invalidates the car insurance, and speeding tickets, parking fines etc are the responsibility of the renter. It should be noted that the drink driving limits are lower than the UK and if the police stop you for any reason, you should always have proof of identity plus the car hire contract with you.

We also provide you with the option of paying directly to the car hire on arrival using a credit card or we can include the payment at the time of booking at no extra charge

Bike Rental

We can also pre-book mountain or road bikes that will be delivered and collected to and from your private villa/apt/townhouse. Booking early avoids disappointment especially in the high seasons.

Yacht Charter

For those looking for the ultimate experience of the Algarve coast, UniQue can book a power or sail boat for ½ or full day charter. If you prefer to bareboat charter you are required to hold a recognized and valid certificate (RYA).  If you prefer to lay back and relax we recommend the option of skipper!
